Akwad AI assistant in the Questions builder
Akwad AI is a floating chat on the Questions design page. It edits an existing survey draft using natural language (Arabic or English).
Where to find it
In the portal: Survey management → open a survey → Design → Questions.
The Akwad AI floating button is in the bottom corner (opposite the app sidebar).
How it works
- Click Akwad AI to open the chat.
- Describe the change you want.
- The assistant returns a proposal (summary + checklist of operations).
- Select the operations you want, then Apply selected.
- The builder updates, the draft autosaves, the chat closes, and the view scrolls to the change.
- An Undo bar appears at the top for one step back.
Conversation: One thread per survey. Reopening the panel shows your latest messages, not an empty start screen.
Language: You can write prompts in any language. The assistant’s reply and any proposed survey text (summary, titles, introduction, question wording, options) are returned in the survey’s default language - the language currently selected as the survey default (Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Turkish, and the other supported survey languages). Example: a survey whose default language is French gets French proposals even if you prompt in English. The chat panel shows a short note telling you which language replies will be written in.

Limits per message
- Up to 3 new pages
- Up to 10 new questions
- Message length: 3–3000 characters
Not supported yet
- Logic, branching, skip rules
- Survey settings (numbering, required asterisk, …)
- Appearance / themes
- Advanced types (media, uploads, form tests, advanced NPS/rating, …)
- Editing a published version (draft only)
- Multi-level undo
Questions with collected responses
The assistant cannot remove a question or change its type if it already has participant responses.
How to write a good prompt
Be specific

Name the location when it matters
- “Shorten the introduction” - edits the intro only.
- “On page 1, add a rating question about service” - targets the right page.
- “Question 3 - make the title clearer” - refer by order or title.
Reply and proposed content language
- The survey default language controls the assistant reply and proposed text (any supported survey language, e.g. Arabic, English, French).
- You may prompt in any language; applied survey content follows the default language, not necessarily the language of your message.
- The chat panel shows a short note with the language replies will be written in.
Review the proposal before applying
- Each operation has a checkbox - uncheck what you do not want.
- Remove operations are marked destructive - review carefully.
- You get one Undo after apply.
